Sigizmund Krzhizhanovsky

Sigismund Dominikowitsch Krzhizhanovsky (Russian Сигизмунд Доминикович Кржижановский; * 30 Januarjul / February 11 1887greg in Kiev, .. † December 28, 1950 in Moscow) was a Russian and Soviet writer of Polish descent. Most of his works were published posthumously. Krzhizhanovsky lived poorly of corrective work for publishers and was not prosecuted by the Stalinist terror in the Soviet Union because he wrote only for the drawer. This was true not only for his literary works such as novels, short stories, aphorisms and plays, but also for his studies of Shakespeare and Pushkin and his theater theoretical work.
