The Signal Mountain near Damme in Lower Saxony district of Vechta is 146 m above sea level. NHN, the highest elevation of the Dammer Berge and the Oldenburger Munsterland country.

Add to Dammer mountains that belong to the natural park Dumber, the signal forested mountain rises about 4 km respectively north of Damme and south of Steinfeld, about 500 m east of the provincial road 846

About Signal Hill, the Weser -Ems - watershed runs: All watercourses that flow from it eastward, contact to the Hunte of the Weser, such that flow westward, contact us via the hare of the Ems.

Nature Spatial allocation

The mountain signal heard in the main physiographic unit group Dumber - Geest lowlands (No. 58) in the main unit Bersenbrücker Country ( 585 ) and the subunit Bersenbrueck - Dammer Endmoränenbogen ( 585.0 ) for natural space Dammer Berge ( 585.03 ).

At the top of Signal Mountain is a transmission tower of the Armed Forces and on its northern slope of a 134 m high telecommunications tower of Deutsche Telekom, of which the programs NDR Info, N -Joy, Germany and Germany Kultur radio broadcast.
