Silanols are organic silicon compounds in which at least one hydroxyl group is bonded to the silicon atom.

Thus:

• Attached an alkyl group and three hydroxyl groups to a silicon atom, eg methylsilanetriol

• Eg: dimethylsilanediol, diphenylsilanediol

• Eg: trimethylsilanol triphenylsilanol
