Silesian Railways

Koleje Śląskie ( Silesian German railways) are a regional railway transport companies in Silesia, based in Katowice.

The company was founded on 8 April 2010 is in the possession of the Silesian Voivodeship and operates the third largest, according to Gdansk and Warsaw, adopted by Przewozy Regionalne transport network in Poland. The trains often operate with long pitches through rural regions. Here, with the exception of S4, which serves as Szybka Kolej Regionalna many stations close together between Tychy and Sosnowiec, the station distances very large. The S4 operates in the forward traffic since 2008. Since December 2011, the railway network is operated vehicles with newer design.
