Silke Lichtenhagen

Silke light Hagen ( born November 20, 1973 in Leverkusen) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympian, which was successful as Kurzsprinterin in the 1990s.

Her achievements were in the 4 x 100 - meter relay, the bronze medal at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg (along with Melanie Paschke, Silke- Beate Knoll and Becker) and the gold medal at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 (along with Melanie Paschke Bettina Zipp and Silke- Beate Knoll ). At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, the squadron was not so lucky and was eliminated due to a change in the flow of error.

As the largest single success they achieved a fourth place over 200 meters at the IAAF World Indoor Championships 1995 at World and European Championships in addition to numerous semi-final placements.

Silke light Hagen started for Bayer 04 Leverkusen ( Coach: Manfred Fink (1988-1994 ) and Wolfgang Thiele (1995-1998) ). In her playing days, she was 1.74 m tall and weighed 54 kg.

After numerous injuries, she ended her athletic career finally in the summer of 2002 and focused on completion of your degree in business administration in the summer of 2000 on their professional career.
