Silke Scheuermann

Silke Scheuermann ( born June 15, 1973 in Karlsruhe ) is a German writer.

Life and work

After high school, Silke Scheuermann studied theater and literature in Frankfurt am Main, Leipzig and Paris. She writes poetry and prose has been published in numerous anthologies ( including The Great Conrady ) and literary journals. Silke Scheuermann debuted in 2001 with the poetry collection on which the gulls were singing in two voices The day. Published in 2007 the novel The hour between dog and wolf, for which the author was awarded the prize for Grimmelshausenmuseum price. In 2007 she was invited to Klagenfurt reading competition at the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize. In 2009 she received a scholarship from the Villa Massimo. For the literary magazine Full text she writes a regular column, the Lyric moment.

Silke Scheuermann lived until 2008 in Frankfurt and then moved to the neighboring city of Offenbach am Main.
