Silverstein Properties Inc. is a US-based real estate company which has its headquarters in New York City.

The company was founded in 1957 by Harry Silverstein. Today, his son Larry Silverstein is president of Silverstein Properties. In 2008, according to information the website of Silverstein Properties properties worth around 10 billion U.S. dollars owned by the company. Most real estate by Silverstein Properties are offices and apartments in New York, which are housed in skyscrapers.

World Trade Center

The company became famous for the World Trade Center. In July 2001, Silverstein Properties leased the destroyed Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 attacks. Shortly thereafter, the company announced to build the complex again. A building that 7 World Trade Center, was opened in 2006 and has since become the company's headquarters. Silverstein Properties is also the owner of the rest of the complex, which will be opened according to Larry Silverstein to about 2014.
