Silvinit

Silvinit (Russian Сильвинит ) was a Russian company with headquarters in Solikamsk in the Perm region. The company was listed on the RTS stock index. It expanded in Russia mainly potash from, among others, is derived from the fertilizer. The company was after the main mineral of the Kalisalzlagerstätten to Solikamsk and Beresniki, the sylvite, named.

History

Silvinit went back to the Soviet Mining Combine Sojuskali, from which it was privatized in 1992 simultaneously with Uralkali. In 2011 Silvinit was acquired by Uralkali.
