Simmu Tiik

Simmu Tiik ( born February 19, 1959 in Tartu) is an Estonian diplomat and ambassador to Russia since 2008.

Tiik studied at Tartu University and the University of Copenhagen. After graduating, he began working in 1993 for the State Department, among other things, he worked from 1997 to 1999 at the Estonian Embassy in Copenhagen. From 2003 to 2006 Tiik was Estonian Ambassador to Ireland. Since 2008 he has been ambassador to Russia.

Tiik speaks English, Russian and Danish. He is married and has one daughter.
