Simon & Garfunkel discography
The discography of Simon & Garfunkel, an American folk rock duo, the core consists of five studio albums, a movie soundtrack, four live albums and over twenty singles. In addition, there appeared a series of compilations.
The first joint publications of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are from the year 1957. By 1963, the duo took another on under the name Tom & Jerry and brought out five singles. With their first record contract with a major label, Columbia Records, the musicians changed the band name to Simon & Garfunkel. From 1964 until their separation in 1970, they produced four studio albums with Columbia and the soundtrack to the film The Graduate. Then they produced only single common songs, since the separation appeared essentially live and compilation albums.
This article primarily deals with the publication of Simon & Garfunkel in the United States, the homeland of the duo. From the multitude of international publications only those issues which have achieved a ranking in the German, Austrian, Swiss or British music charts.
