Simon Gass

Sir Simon Lawrance Gass KCMG CVO, 2011 New Year Honours ( born November 2, 1956) is a British diplomat.

Life

Simon Lawrance Gass joined the Foreign Service in 1977. From 1979 to 1983 he was in Lagos, Nigeria employs. From 1984 to 1987 he was employed in Athens. From 1987 to 1992 he was employed at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. From 1992 to 1995 he was employed in Rome. From 1995 to 1998 he was employed in the FCO in London. From 1998 to 2001 he was Deputy High Commissioner ( Commonwealth ) in Pretoria. From 2004 to 2008 he was ambassador in Athens. From 2009 until October 2011, he was ambassador in Tehran. During the protests against electoral fraud in the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Have read his teeeds much. Since April 14, 2011 he is the representative of the North Atlantic Council in Kabul.
