Simone Lahbib

Simone Nicole Jean Lahbib Ould Cheikl ( born February 6, 1965 in Stirling, Scotland) is a British actress.

Life and career

The Scottish Lahbib Simone was born as the daughter of a Scottish mother and a French algerischstämmigen in Stirling. In her native Scotland, she attended a Drama and Ballet School. Simone Lahbib worked in various theater, television and cinema productions. Greater attention she attracted in the television series Bad Girls by her portrayal of the prison director Helen Steward, who falls in love with a prisoner. This role brought her to the lesbian and gay community a huge following. In the German-speaking world it was on the side of main actor Robson Green as Detective Inspector Alex Fielding in the ZDF broadcast on the British crime series Closer - the Blood known.

Simone Lahbib is married to the American actor Raffaello Degruttola since 10 May 2003. In October 2005, she was the mother of a daughter.
