Sina-1

Sinah -1 is an Earth observation satellite of Iran.

The satellite was launched on 28 October 2005 at 6:52 UTC with a Russian Kosmos- 3M rocket from the Plesetsk launch site into a 680 km high Sun-synchronous orbit with an inclination of 98.1 °. Sinah - 1 was produced in Russia by NPO Poljot. The cost of weighing 160 kg and 0.8 x 1.3 x 1.6 m large satellite amounted to 44 million U.S. dollars. The resolution is panchromatic with 50 m and 250 m multispectral, given the swath width of 50 km and 500 km.
