Sinner (Band)

Sinner is a German heavy metal band, named after its founder, singer and bass player, the nowadays very well known German heavy metal musician and producer Mat Sinner ( Primal Fear, among others ).

History

Established in Baden- Württemberg, Sinner released their first LP Wild'n'Evil in 1982. The successor Fast Decision was published a year later by Gama Records; Mat Sinner claims to this day, the album has not been fully completed due to the now made ​​contract with Noise Records. Danger Zone, the first album under Noise Records, was the first attempt of the band, their personal style continues to develop, which had little to do at this time with the melodic metal of the next and last albums. After many line-up changes, the band stabilized with Herman Frank (Accept ) on guitar and recorded in 1985 the album Touch of Sin. This production is still regarded as a milestone of the German Heavy Metal. Comin 'Out Fighting was recorded with the guitar Team Angel Grinder and Mathias Dieth.

In 1987, the album Dangerous Charm was released, an album with more melodic sounds than the time before. After that, the band agreed that it should take a break. Meanwhile, Mat Sinner, published in 1990 a solo album called Back to the Bullet, which was arranged with a completely new band.

Five years later, the original cast reunited in 1992 and brought the album No More Alibis out, the harder a lot more sound than previous recordings of the band. With subsequent albums, Respect and Bottom Line, the band managed even to stay for five weeks in the Japanese charts. With this musical realignment, the popularity of the band grew further and introduced alongside guest appearances opening for Mr. Big and Savatage also to start their own tour in Germany and the release of a live album. Even more successful was the band with the albums Judgement Day (1997) and The Nature of Evil (1998), according to which one was the opening act for Deep Purple on a European tour. The Nature of Evil was the most successful album of the band, and stood in the German album charts at number 63

In 1997 Mat Sinner founded with former Gamma Ray vocalist Ralf Scheepers, the band Primal Fear. Mat Sinner is referred to as the driving force of the two band projects.

Development from 2000

2000 the band had their first line- up change after five years. Uli Kusch, the former drummer of Helloween and Gamma Ray, guitarist Henny Wolter and produced the album The End of Sanctuary with the band. In 2003 came the new, very metal -heavy and successful album There Will Be Execution in the stores before the band took a four year break, in which Mat Sinner focused on working with Primal Fear. Until then, the band had released six albums in nine years.

Mat Sinner Sinner reformed in 2006 to record the album Mask of Sanity. With the occupation of Henny Wolter (guitar ), Klaus Sperling (drums) and Christof glue (guitar), the band toured for years for the first time with very good response and signed a new long-term record deal with AFM Records. In September 2008, the album Crash & Burn was released by AFM Records in the same occupation. This is followed by tours joined by Asia (Japan), South America and the United States.

In 2011 the band went back into the studio to record new songs. In addition to Mat Sinner and Christof glue you could with André Hilgers ( Rage ) on drums and guitarist Alex Scholpp ( Tarja ) and Alex Beyrodt (Primal Fear, Voodoo Circle ) put together a respected all-star band. The album One Bullet Left was released on 9 September 2011 and charted in Germany on item 65 of the official album charts. The band went on tour through Europe and ended a successful year 2011.
