The Siskiyou Mountains are a mountain range on the North American Pacific coast in the northern Klamath Mountains. They are located in northwestern California and southwestern Oregon in the United States. The mountain range extends arcuately about 160 km east commencing from Crescent City to the northeast along the north side of the Klamath River into Josephine County and Jackson County, Oregon. The Siskiyou Mountains form a watershed between the basins of the Klamath River and the Rogue River.

The highest peaks in the mountain range are Mount Ashland ( 2,296 meters), Dutchman Peak ( 2,259 meters), Siskiyou Peak ( 2,178 meters) and Wagner Butte ( 2,176 meters), all located in Oregon; the highest peak in California is Preston Peak ( 2,228 meters). Because of the proximity to the Pacific coast and the level falls in the mountain range, a large amount of rainfall, and the area is lushly vegetated.

In the northeast of the Siskiyou Mountains and in the transition region of the Cascade mountain range in the north and the dry steppe of the Great Basin in the south east, the Cascade - Siskiyou National Monument is a protected area that preserves the particularly high due to the transitional nature of biodiversity of the area.
