Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur

The School Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur or Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur ( religious symbol: SNDdeN ) are a Roman Catholic community of Sisters, which goes back to a French foundation. The sisters are mainly active in the school system. In Germany they lead the Lady Schools in Vechta and Cologne. From 1918 to 1983 she was the school authorities Theresa School in Berlin, for decades only Catholic girls' school in the GDR.

The Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur was founded in Amiens in 1804 by the Saint Julie Billiart 1809 relocated to Belgium Namur and has around 2,000 nurses on all continents.
