Siv Friðleifsdóttir

Björg Siv Juhlin Friðleifsdóttir, mostly short Siv Friðleifsdóttir ( born August 10, 1962 in Oslo) is an Icelandic politician ( Progress Party ).

From 1995 to 2013 she was Member of the Icelandic parliament, the Althing, first for the constituency of Reykjanes, since 2003 for the Southwestern constituency. From 1999 to 2004 she was Minister of the Environment and Minister for Nordic cooperation 2006-2007 she was Health Minister. Since 2007, she was Chair of the Progressive Party. In the Althing in 2009 she was vice-president since the election.
