The Siwa (Russian Сива ) is a 206 km long right tributary of the Kama in the European part of Russia.
Description
The Siwa rises in the north of the Rajons Tschastyje in the south of the Perm region, about 100 km south-west of the regional capital Perm. From there, it flows first to the northeast, but soon turns into a wide left turn in western and southwestern directions.
After the confluence of the Chernaya, the river turns south and reaches approximately 20 km later, the borders of the Republic of Udmurtia, where the Lyp opens. Now the Siwa flows in predominantly southern direction through the eastern part of Udmurtia.
In Votkinsk the Wotka opens a. The Siwa now flows almost parallel to the west bank of the Votkinsk reservoir to the Kama was dammed. A few miles below the dam reaches the Siwa on the border of Udmurtia to the Perm region, the Kama.
The Siwa is mainly fed by snowmelt and frozen average of the second half of October through to April.
