Sivert Høyem

Sivert Høyem ( born January 22, 1976 in Sortland ) is a Norwegian singer. After his involvement as the frontman of the rock group Madrugada aufgeglösten 2008 he has worked as a solo artist.

Biography

Høyem is the son of the politician Jorun Drevland and teacher Asbjørn Høyem. He grew up in Sortland and went to school there, before he moved to Oslo in 1995. During his career, he completed a history degree at the University of Oslo.

In the late 1990s, presented with the band Madrugada the success one. Her breakthrough in Norway succeeded with their debut album Industrial Silence; together with Frode Jacobsen (bass ) and the late Robert Buras 2007 ( guitar). After Buras 's death, the band broke up, although Høyem and Jacobsen decided to release the album Madrugada 2008. The last concert was held in Oslo on 15 November 2008.
