Sixaola River

Río Sixaola is the name of the border river, the Panama and Costa Rica on the Atlantic coast ( northern coast ) separates. The river is 146 km long and flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
Sixaola is also the commonly known name of the border crossing between Panama and Costa Rica and also the name of the place on the Costa Rican side of the border. On the Panamanian side is the place Guabito.
The crossing consists of a navigable in only one direction each steel arch bridge and crosses the Río Sixaola. In the middle of the bridge there is a sign with the words " Costa Rica - Panamá ", which shows the traveler the country in which he is now.
