Sixx:A.M.

Sixx: A.M. is the solo project of Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx.

Band History

In 2007, Nikki Sixx along with producers James Michael and DJ Ashba a soundtrack for his book The Heroin Diaries on. They decided to put together the band's name from the name of the individual members. Although it was announced the band should exist for this album only, but the remarkable success of the first single, Life is beautiful ensured that the band some gigs - including as the opening act for Korn - played. 2008, they were part of the Crüefest tour of Mötley Crüe. They played together with Trapt, Papa Roach and Buckcherry as the opening act. In addition, all the singers of that bands played together with Mötley Crüe a track Saints of Los Angeles, was released on the same album.

For 2010, a new album is announced. DJ Ashbas role is not yet known, as he was introduced in February 2009 as the new guitarist of Guns N 'Roses .. a solid drummer has not the band. In January 2011, Nikki Sixx confirmed on his Facebook page in May The album This Is Gonna Hurt will be released, the corresponding, same book even as early as April 2011. Guitarist on the album will be DJ Ashba again. Currently the band is working on their third album, that still is to appear in 2013.
