Sizaire Frères

Sizaire Frères was a French manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The brothers Maurice and Georges Sizaire who conducted Sizaire - Naudin and were also involved in Sizaire - Berwick, founded in 1920 in Courbevoie Automobiles Sizaire Frères. Began in 1923, automobile production. The brand name was Sizaire Frères. Paul Dupuy was also involved in the company. As Dupuy died in 1927, was renamed Société Nouvelle Sizaire the car and the company moved to Levallois -Perret. In July 1928 the company was renamed SA de GERANCE of Automobiles Sizaire. 1929 production ended. Alone from the first model emerged about 1150 vehicles. Georges Sizaire thereafter initiated the branch factory Belga Rise in Belgium.

Rolling stock

The offer was initially named only the model 4 RI, also 11 CV. For the drive was provided by a four-cylinder engine with OHC valve control with 1993 cc, 50 hp and independent suspension. From this model come until 1927 about 900 vehicles.

For model year 1928, the Model Six followed with a valveless six-cylinder sleeve-valve engine of Willys -Overland with 2910 cc capacity. Of these originated about 150 vehicles.

The last model was the engine from the Hotchkiss of Hotchkiss AM 2 with 2413 cc capacity. Here, the number was about 100 copies.

A vehicle of this make is the Cité de l'Automobile - Schlumpf Collection in Mulhouse to visit in France - Musée National.
