History

Size Is not Everything was the first album of a new record deal with Polydor after a contract for three albums with Warner was fulfilled. On March 5, 1992 Hugh Gibb, the father of the three Bee Gees had died on the birthday of her younger brother Andy Gibb, who died in 1988. While working on the album, which began in 1992, the Bee Gees wanted to turn back to the sound of previous records. However, they used but some modern elements, such as from the hip-hop. The first single from the album, Paying the Price of Love reached # 23 in the UK. The second, For Whom the Bell Tolls, became a top five hit in the UK.
