Sizzler

Sizzler is an Australian restaurant chain.

History

The chain was founded on January 27, 1958 by Del and Helen Johnson as Del 's Sizzler Family Steak House in Culver City, California. The company has more than 270 locations in the United States. In addition, Sizzler is also represented internationally. Sizzler has, except in the U.S., as well as restaurants in Australia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore and Thailand. In 2005 Sizzler was bought by a private equity company called Collins Foods Group and has since been in the possession of the company.

Sizzler has mainly specialized in steaks and seafood. In addition, Sizzler is also known for its large salad buffet.
