Sjur Loen
Sjur Loen is a Norwegian curler.
His international debut was Loen at the Curling World Championship 1974 in Berne, he remained without a medal. In 1976 he won at the Junior World Championships in Aviemore with the bronze medal his first precious metal.
Loen played as a third of the Norwegian team at the XV. Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 in Curling. The team of Skip Eigil Ramsfjell won the Olympic gold medal after a 10-2 victory in the final against Switzerland to Skip Hansjörg Lips. Since curling was still a demonstration sport, the medal has no official status.
