SK Group

SK Group (formerly Sunkyung ) is one of the five largest conglomerates ( chaebol ) in South Korea. The company is based in Seoul. The group consisted in 2001 of more than 60 subsidiaries in the energy, chemicals, telecommunications, logistics and finance industries had a turnover of 48 billion U.S. dollars and employed approximately 25,000 employees.

SK Innovation and Continental Aktiengesellschaft announced 10 January 2012 that this plan a worldwide cooperation for drives of electric vehicles. In December 2012, Chey Tae -won came back after 14 years in the management team as president and nephew of the founder.

On the German market, especially optical and magnetic storage media ( CD -R, DVD /-R, cassette ) are represented by SKC. The South Korean company SKC is not to be confused with the German company SK cartridges from Neuenrade (formerly Sauerland plastics) which, inter alia, also Karstadt ( Okano ), Edeka / Market purchase ( good and cheap) and Müller with their products supplies.
