Skilandis

Skilandis or Kindziukas (Polish Kindziuk ) is a cold - smoked white pudding from Lithuania. These pieces of meat, bacon, salt, pepper and garlic are used. The sausage mixture is then filled into a traditional pig's stomach or a pig's bladder, today also in other casings. Then, the sausage is dried, and then cold - smoked, but not boiled.

The Skilandis is already occupied for the 16th century. It is characterized by the nature and duration of the maturation extremely durable.

The term " Skilandis " is protected by EU law as a TSG.
