Skindred
Skindred is a five-piece Welsh band from Newport, which was founded in 1998. It combines in her music the music styles Reggae, Heavy Metal, Hip -hop and elements of punk.
History
The band was formed by three former members of Dub War Benji Webbe, Jeff Rose and Martin Ford, who played together in England. After they worked separately on several music projects, they decided in 1998, along with bassist Daniel Pugsley perform under the name Skindred. In 2002, Jeff Rose was replaced by Mikey Demus and Martin Ford by Arya G.. Skindred released five albums to date: In 2002, her debut album " Babylon ", which was also re-released in 2003 and 2004 in the other versions. In 2007, she released her second album " Roots Rock Riot " and in 2009 the third album " Sharks Bites and Dog Fights" was published. On April 25, 2011 their fourth album " Union Black" was released. On November 11, 2011 ( episode 4867 ) Skindred had a guest appearance in the RTL series Good Times, Bad Times. The fifth album " Kill the Power" was published on 27 January 2014 and not only reached the Top 40 in the UK, but was the first album of the band in the German charts.
