In Skip-Bo (also pass on or aces out) is a card game with 144 number cards and 18 Skip -Bo wild cards for two to six players.

History

Skip-Bo is a commercial version of the classic card game Spite and Malice. Skip-Bo was produced in 1967 by Hazel Bowman in Texas (The Skip- bo Company). International Games 1980, bought the rights to the game. It was later bought by International Games Mattel. In 1987, a German version of Amigo and 1992, another German version of Mattel.

Game rules

1 Each player gets a bump map. For two to four players, each player gets a deck of 30 cards, with 5 or 6 players each deck contains 20 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, these are then used as stack for pulling.

2 The first player draws 5 cards. If he has done this he can put the first card of the player's stack.

3 If one of these cards a 1 or a Skip-Bo card ( joker can be used for all numbers, it may of wildcards can be used simultaneously on a stack ). If the player has no more right card, he has to put on one of his auxiliary stack a card. One may have a maximum of 4 such stacks. The next player continues the game.

Special game situations

1 ) Too early drawn:

A) If a player puts a card, the other players notice that the player is not his turn, he may not put back the cards drawn. If he is then his turn, he may not take new cards more

2 ) Too many cards are drawn
