Skršín

Skršín ( German Skirschina ) is a dominantly agricultural village in Okres Most ( Czech Republic). The majority of the population works in the industrial areas of the region.

History

The first written record comes from the year 1100. The castle is famous for its orchards and vineyards. In Chrámce the first brewery was located in the district Brüx. Beginning of the 20th century, a quarry has been operated.

Attractions

  • Right in the district Chrámce there is a castle and the statue of St. John of Nepomuk in the castle park.
  • Cemetery chapel " Virgin Assumption ". Pseudo- Gothic building.

Districts

The municipality consists of the villages Skršín Dobrčice ( Dobschitz ) Chrámce ( Kramitz ) and Skršín ( Skirschina ). The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Dobrčice u Skršína, Chrámce and Skršín.
