Skuhrov nad Bělou

Skuhrov nad Bělou ( German Skuchrow at the Alba ) is a municipality in the region of Hradec Králové Region in the Czech Republic. It is located in the foothills of the Eagle Mountains in the valley of the Bela seven kilometers west of the district town Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

History

Skuhrov was first mentioned in 1279 in the Chronicle of Dalimil. At this time belonged Skuhrov the Mutina Dobruška. In 1310 it gained the status of a town, in 1396 it became a town charged with the privilege of two fairs.
