Sıla (album)

Sıla is the debut album of the same name Turkish pop singer Sıla Gençoğlu, which was released by Sony BMG on 23 October 2007 in Turkey. The album consists of 14 tracks and an official remix. The first single from the self-titled album is ... Dan Sonra, which reached the 1st place in the Turkish charts and stayed for 12 weeks at the top. In the European charts, it reached the 79th place. The director of the video was Murad Kucuk and the wild video helped the success of the song.

After the great success of the first single from the debut album, she chose Kenar suesue as the second single. Again, was the director Murad Kucuk and the song quickly reached the second place in the official Turkish charts. In the second video Sıla was dressed all in white, which reflected an angel. The lyrics of the song tells about the loneliness and the dark sides of a long-term relationship.
