Søldarfjørður

Søldarfjørður [ ˌ sœldaɹ FJO ː ɹʊɹ ] (Danish: Solmundefjord ) is a place of the Faroe Islands in the South Eysturoys longest Faroese fjord, the Skálafjørður.

This place used to be called Sólmundarfjørður and is part of the ten- kilometer-long, continuous settlement area on the east bank of the Skálafjørður Toftir to Skipanes, the northern neighbor Søldarfjørðurs. Fjord is the Viðarlundin í Søldarfirði, a small forest, which was created in 1950 and is 1.72 hectares in size.
