Sleigh Ride

Sleigh Ride (sleigh-ride ) is a popular orchestral piece of light music. It was designed by Leroy Anderson composed at the end of the 40s. The text about a person who would like to go on a winter day in fine weather with another person in a carriage, was written by Mitchell Parish in 1950. The orchestral version was first performed in 1949 by Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra.
