The Slioch ( The spear in Gaelic ) is a 981 meter high mountain in Scotland. It is situated in Wester Ross in the Highland Council Area in the south-eastern end of the northern shore of Loch Maree and is one of the Munros. With its 981 m of Slioch is the highest mountain around Loch Maree. Building on gneiss rises the summit area of torridonischem sandstone on three sides on steep rock walls. Just to the southeast of the Slioch is less repellent, here offers the Coire na Sleaghaich the easiest ascent possibility. The Gaelic name The spear is understandable only from the east, here is the summit of the upstream Sgurr at Tuill Bhain of its narrow side. From the west and south of the Slioch other hand, looks like a steep rock fortress.

Accessible is the Slioch of Kinlochewe. The boarding time is approximately four to five hours. Because the most of the summits towering height and above Loch Maree is the Slioch a popular destination for hikers and climbers.
