Slohokej League

The Slohokej League was a multinational Hockey League, which was attended by teams from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Serbia. The league was founded in 2009, after they had already played in previous years, also Croatian teams in the Slovenian Hockey League, in which also the Slovenian ice hockey champion is determined.

The Slohokej League was a competition, which - similar to the Alps League and the Inter League at the turn of the millennium - is played out in front of the condensed national championship and determines its own master. Some of the clubs were farm teams of teams in the Austrian Hockey League. In the Slovenian EBEL clubs the cadres of Slohokej League and EBEL were often combined to host the Slovenian championship.

2012, the game was shut down after the Slovenian Hockey Association had terminated the contract with the company that runs. In July 2012, a successor to the Slohokej League was founded with the Inter- national League.
