Smith's Island, Bermuda

Smith's Iceland is an island in the northeast of Bermuda, located in the Bay St. George 's Harbour between Paget Iceland in the north and Saint David's Iceland to the south.

The densely forested Smith's Iceland is the third largest island in the Bermudan Government Area Saint George's Parish and about 1200 meters long and up to 280 meters wide. It is sparsely populated and built with only a few villas on the north and south coasts.

The island was one of the first of British colonialists in 1612 from populated areas of Bermuda. It is named after the English aristocrat Thomas Smith ( 1588-1625 ).
