SNCB Class 13
The number 13 of the Belgian State Railways ( NMBS / SNCB ) is a series of electric multi-system locomotives. They were built in the period from 1998 to 2001, ALSTOM and have a top speed of 200 km / h The number 13 is used primarily against internal Belgian high-speed trains (IC and IR), but also across the border to Luxembourg and France.
The locomotives of the series 13, both under 3 kV DC and 25 kV AC be used and ordered in a common series of 80 pieces; 60 of them received the Belgian State Railway, 20 the Luxembourg State Railways ( CFL) as Class 3,000.
