Snøhetta

The Snøhetta is a mountain in Norway, located in the municipality Dovre Dovre in Oppland Province. He is with 2286 m the highest mountain in Norway outside of Jotunheimen.
The first known ascent led Jens Esmark through in 1798. Previously, Snøhetta was considered the highest mountain in Norway, as they are free unlike Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind.
The mountain has several peaks:
- Stortoppen, 2286 m. There is a radio station in the Norwegian army, which is supplied by a diesel generator on it.
- Midttoppen, 2278 m
- Hettpiggen 2261 m
- Vesttoppen, 2253 m
