Snow-Trac

The Snow Trac is a tracked vehicle that was built from 1957 to 1981 by the Swedish company AB Westeras Maskiner. It runs on two rubber tracks powered by a VW boxer engine and is therefore suitable for both off-road use as well as for the road. With a length of about 3.6 and a width of 1.9 meters, the vehicle is the size of a small car. The equipped with benches along the driving direction interior offers space for 6-7 persons ( including the driver). Entry is via a mounted on the tailgate. Other job opportunities do not exist. A steering wheel, the speed of the two chains is controlled separately, which enables the driving of curves.
