Snyder County, Pennsylvania

Snyder County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 37,546 inhabitants and a population density of 44 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Middleburg.

History

Snyder County was formed on March 2, 1855 Union County and named for Simon Snyder, a governor of Pennsylvania from 1808 to 1817.

Population
