Sōji-ji

The Soji -ji (Japanese总 持 寺) is next to the Eihei -ji, the second main temple of Japanese Soto shū.

Formerly a convent of Hosso Shuu was the Soji -ji after establishment of Keizan Jokin as abbot in 1321 as a center of Soto shū.

The present site of the monastery, Yokohama ( Kanagawa Prefecture).
