The Sokoto (formerly known as Gublin Kebbi ) is a tributary of the Niger in the north- west Nigeria.

The source of Sokoto is located south of Funtua in Katsina State. In the direction of Sokoto in Sokoto State, he happened Gusau in Zamfara State. On the northern outskirts of Sokoto, after 320 kilometers, it flows together with the river Rima and leads its way towards Argungu and Birnin Kebbi continued in Kebbi State.
