Sokuluk

Sokuluk ( Dungan: Сохўлў; Russian: Сокулук ) is a municipality in Kyrgyzstan with about 18,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative seat of the homonymous Rajons Sokuluk area Tschüi.

Sokuluk is located 30 km west of the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

In the 19th century, German -born Mennonites settled in Sokuluk and environment, most of their descendants settled since the 1980s, back to Germany.
