Sol del Paraguay Lineas Aéreas was a Paraguayan airline based in Asunción.
History
The company was founded in 2010 as a subsidiary of the bus company Sol del Paraguay, received in June 2011, the approval of the Paraguayan approval authority DiNAc and adopted on 18 November 2011 scheduled operations on. This was discontinued on 1 August 2012. The reasons for the difficult economic environment and the non-cooperative, sometimes hostile attitude of some neighboring states were given with regard to new destinations.
Destinations
Apart from the home airport Asunción (November 2011) only Ciudad del Este and Buenos Aires ( Ezeiza ) were approached. It was the intention in the short to medium term, to fly a variety of other targets.
Fleet
The fleet consisted of three machines last Fokker 100 (built in 1991) with the name " Lago de Ypacaraí " (ZP - CAL), " Itapúa Poty " (ZP -CFL ) and " Héroes del Chaco " (ZP - CJD).
