Sola is a municipality in the Norwegian Rogaland. It lies in the northern part of the landscape Jæren on Hafrsfjord. The municipality is bordered to the north and east by the municipality of Stavanger, Sandnes and in the east on the south by Klepp. In the west, the municipality bordering the North Sea.
