SolarCity

Solar City is an American corporation headquartered in San Mateo, California, designed the solar power systems, markets, installs and on request also financed, leases and operates. It also provides current and designs, installs and operates charging stations for electric cars.

History

It was founded in 2006 is based on a proposal of today's Chairmans Elon Musk to his cousin Lyndon Rive (CEO ) and Peter Rive (Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technical Officer ) back to lead the company operationally. Musk invested in Solar City part of his fortune, which he had made with the sale of its shares in Paypal to further his vision of a greener, sun -based energy supply of the USA.
