Solec Kujawski radio transmitter

The radio station Solec Kujawski is a taken on a former military training area about three kilometers southeast of the Polish city Solec Kujawski into operation on 4 September 1999 long wave radio transmitter for the frequency 225 kHz.

This facility replaces the former long-wave transmitters in Konstantynów whose transmission tower which was the tallest building in the world with a height of 646 meters, on 8 August 1991 collapsed when replacing the guy ropes. The transmit power of the radio station Solec Kujawski, which can be received in Germany in eastern Germany throughout the day and night, is 1200 kilowatts and is achieved with all-transistor MOSFET output stages. As in the previous station in Konstantynów is the carrier frequency, which serves as the calibration frequency, generated by means of an atomic clock.

As a transmitting antenna of the radio station Solec Kujawski uses a directional antenna consisting of a 330 meter and a 289 meter high grounded transmission towers. The 330 -meter-high transmission tower is located at 53 ° 01'22 " north latitude and 18 ° 15'40 " east longitude, the 289 meter high radio mast is at 53 ° 01'14 "North and 18 ° 15'51 " east longitude. The distance between the poles is 330 meters.

Furthermore, the system still designed as a free-standing steel framework construction Richtfunkturm belongs to Programmzuspielung next to the station building.

As with the transmitter Donebach of Germany both radio masts are grounded and are fed by the backstays with the radiated RF energy. It is striking that the high frequency lines were not run as underground cables, but as Reuse line.
