Soledad Pastorutti

Soledad Pastorutti ( born October 12, 1980 in Arequito, Santa Fe, Argentina ) is an Argentine folklore singer famous, actress and TV presenter. It is also called Soledad, La Sole, El Tifón or El Huracán de Arequito. It is one of the innovators of the Argentine folklore. Life

Soledad Pastorutti is the daughter of Haydee Griselda Saccino and Omar Alberto Pastorutti and the sister of Natalia Pastorutti (* 1982). She was born in Casilda, the old town of Arequito. Her father took her in her childhood in contact with the Argentine folklore, and she appeared in the area.

In 1996 she took at the age of 15 years with her sister Natalia Pastorutti on folklore festival in Cosquín and won the award for newcomer of the year. They signed a recording contract with Sony Music, which produced the first album Poncho al viento. The album sold more than 800,000 times in a short time.
