Solomon Rubin

Salomon Rubin ( born April 3, 1823 in Dolyna, † February 14, 1910 in Kraków ) was a Jewish scholar and reconnaissance as well as Hebrew writers and translators in Galicia.

He was long regarded as one of the spiritual leaders of the Eastern Jews. Particularly well known he was an influential Hebrew translation of Spinoza. He was also co-founder and regular contributor to the Hashachar.
